ABNER BROWNELL

On April 20,1775 Abner received word that the British were causing trouble in Boston and war had begun. He saddled his horse and galloped through what is now Westport, calling out all the minutemen in town. Within a few hours a company were on their way to Boston. Today he is remembered as Westport’s Paul Revere!
Join us on April 30, 2026, at two locations in Westport to hear Abner's story.
